What driver and utility program am I supposed to use with this unit? I read that I should not use the program that comes with the unit, but should download and use the one in your download section. I am running Windows XP Pro with SP3. I received the unit and installed the program I downloaded from WiFi-Link, the performance I received was about equal to dialup. I removed that program and installed the program from the disk that came with the unit, performance no better. When I rebooted the unit connected to a unsecured link not my secure link that it was connected to before reboot.
I have used all USB units sold by WiFi-Link the 100Mw, 200Mw, 500Mw, and the earlier 1000Mw unit. The first unit I bought still works & when I installed it it gave performance about equal to the new Warrior. It also reconnected to my secure link after a reboot.
Is my new unit defective or are the programs defrctive? Will the program that came with the old 1000Mw work with the new Warrior, It is a much better program.

The warrior uses a different chipset:Ralink 3070, and you may download the latest driver for Warrior at below link:

Some prefer ralink due to it connecting stability & speed.

Also, why would I need the following unit "WIFI-Link Warrior 802.11b/g/n 1000mW High Power Adapter + 20dBi Panel + 7m/23ft"
I am going to Mexico, and need to have the right stuff.
