The RP SMA part will be worked with the EVR100, and the n male part will go with antenna.
Normally we only connect one antenna from router, to receive or transimt the signl, the other want will stay with dipole antenna to share the signal inside.
Thank you very much |

You can check the D-Link router you have which has the web AP function or not,
If yes, you can use this antenna set to work with router to receive the free wifi signal then share the signal in your house to other items you would like to use the internet.
If not, you can choose below access point to receive the signal then share it to other wifi items,

I am sorry that we don't provide the router, you can get the router from "Best Buy" or " Fry's".
When you choose the router please choose the router has the removable antenna, nomrmally the D-Link router will have it.
Also the system has to be 802.11b/g/n exclude the 802.11a.
And for the antenna part you can choose the Panel type 20dBi antenna 2.4G to transmit the signal.
Thank you very much.

At the first we need to make sure your router is for 802.11b/g/n system or 802.11a/b/g/n system.
The 27dBi Grid antenna which is for 802.11a system only which can not work with the 802.11n system.
Also if you would like to share with large area only one router and one antenna won't be enough.
Please understand about this.
Thank you very much. |

Hello, I am interested in getting one of your antennas, so I dicided to save some money. This is my problem, I have no idea what to get. I am the kind of a guy who wants the best. There was someone that asked about a 20 mile source, and you guys recommended a AP bridge, which has high power, better then 1w, that’s something that I might need, but I don’t know what it is. Do you have it?
It has to be a outdoor antenna. I have a laptop, and a desktop, I need something to possibly have the 2 computers, at the same time online. Let me know what you recommend, and I will see, if I have the funds.

If you are receing the signal from ourdoor then wants to share the signal inside your house for 2 computers, you can choose below access point.
http://www.cyberguys.com/product-details/?productid=40698#page=page-1
The distance is around 20miles away, you will also need the high power outdoor booster to work with both transmit side and receive side,
It has to be the clear line of sight to get the best signal, otherwise the signal will be no find or not stable.
Below is the antenna set with the booster

You need two sets of these antenna set to work with each of your laptop.
You just need to install the driver from the USB adapter to you laptop, and setup the antenna outdoor to point the direction that you would like to receive the signal.
Thank you very much. |

I have internet at my office and I would like to get it at my home about a mile away (I have line of sight). I haven't bought a router yet so my options are open. What would you recomend for an antenna setup and what router?
Thanks |

A |
WIFI-Link Service |
You can get the Linksys or D-Link router which has the removeable antenna then you can work with other high gain antenna.
This antenna you choose does transmit the signl to 1 mile away.
The adapter cable will fit with D-Link router.
Also the transmit performance will still depend on your surround environment.
Thank you very much. |

Besides this kit what other adapters might I need to connect to a Linksys router Model No. wrt610n? |

Becasue the router you have which doesn't have the connector that can work with other antennas.
You might need to check different router has the removeable antenna to work with this antenna set.
Thank you very much. |

I already bought this antenna from you last year. I need to send or receive a signal (I can put the antenna at either end) about 1000 feet and through young trees the whole way. Will this antenna be strong enough to get the signal through? If so, would I be better using it to send or receive the signal? Thanks for your help. |
2010-03-13 16:31:13 |
A |
WIFI-Link Service |
The antenna can be worked with a receive and transmit both.
For 1000feet away, this antenna will be good enough.
However I will suggest you use this antenna from the transmit side to get more power from your router.
Thank you very much. |

I live about 20 miles from good source of internet,is possible to connect ,with any wireless bridge? |
2010-03-12 05:03:06 |
A |
WIFI-Link Service |
This antenna set can work with 802.11b/g system wireless bridge.
If you would like to receive the signal about 20miles away, I will suggest that you get the AP bridge which has high power, it will be better more than 1W to get the better performance.
Thank you very much. |

I'm building a few houses in a development without any underground cable yet. I own a few houses and need to have wireless service in these homes. One home has service and is 500 yards from the furthest home. What system would I need? Also, would this degrade the signal? |

For about 500 yard, you can choose the Panel type antenna to work with. the Panel 18dBi will suit for the distance.
Below is the link that you can get the antenna set to work with.

You can get the outdoor booster with 1000mW to work with your Linksys G router and get the Panel 20dBi antenna to work with, below is the link you can take look,
http://www.wifi-link.com/product.php?action=product&class1_id=643&class2_id=658&class3_id=660&product_id=1659
However if you would like to have very good wireless signal in every room, we will suggest that you will need the Access Point to each room to get stable signal.

Do you know what is the SSID name from the Hotspot??
Then please setup the router as a repeater.
Also you need to check there is the password for the signal or not.
Sometime the signal will need the password to start working it.
Thank you very much
