Q Tim I am trying to get internet from one building to another. I have two D-Link DAP-2553 dual band AP's. Will the 5.8Ghz antenna work with these AP's. I don't want to use the 2.4GHz antenna because there are to many other wireless routers and AP's using the 2.4Ghz band in my area and I'm trying to avoid interferanc drops. 2011-06-06 15:02:27
A WIFI-Link Service I am sorry that you will need the 5G full band antenna to work with your router, or the dual band antenna to work with your router.
At the moment this antenna can be worked with only the 5.8G frequency.

Thank you very much.

Q John H. I have a Laptop Computer which has a wireless card all set up the WI FI hot spot is approx 5to 6 miles east of my location ,( A WEEK END cabin ) can you tell me which Antenna would be best for my ability to get internet conection. Thanks 2008-01-25 02:46:43
A WIFI-Link Service This antenna is for 802.11a system using you have to make sure this is the correct antenna for your wireless card, however if the wireless card which is build in wireless card with your laptop then you can not work with other antenna, you might get the AP to work with higher gain antenna the antenna has to be more than 19dBi to receive the wireless signa.

Thank you very much.

Q Michelle Acord I have a Netgear WPN824 RangeMax Router that I need to extend the range for. I have a RV park and hotel that I am trying to get wireless service to...what do I need in order to accomplish this task. Would this antenna work for what I need, or do I need something else. The only connections on the back of the router are the ethernet plugs, I believe they are the CAT5e connections. Any assistance that you can give me would be appreciated and I am more than willing to purchase this item (5.8 GHz Square GIRD Parabolic Antenna 24dBi) if it will work for what I need.
Thanks,
Michelle Acord

A WIFI-Link Service This Grid antenna which is not for your router you need the 2.4G type antenna, if you only have the CAT5e connection which can not work with the antenna you might need the router which has the RF connection,
Regarding to the antenna part, you can email us more detail then we can provide more information to you.

Thank you very much,
